Our apartment is located at no. 73 Brebner Drive, West Lakes adjacent to the lake, the West Lakes Shopping Centre and the Lakes Resort Hotel.

The Environment –

Lakeside getaway in West Lakes, overlooking a  reserve with a small lakeside beach only metres away on the rowing basin. Walk to shops, hotel and restaurants.

Why is WLHA the best place for you to stay?
1. Distance-  200 m from West Lakes Shopping Centre,  200 m from Lakes Hotel, and 100 m from the Rowing Basin and the lakeside beach.
2. Price- Lowest rates in West Lakes and space for up to 6 guests (if  2 of the 6 share the king bed).
3. Proximity- Close to Port Adelaide Heritage sites/triathlon venue/rowing/shops.
4.  Transport –  Public transport hub in shopping centre opposite giving access to the airport, other beaches and Adelaide. From  there, you can go anywhere from our fantastic zoo to the Barossa.
5.  Short drive to coastal beach & 4 golf courses West Lakes/Grange(East &  West) /Royal Adelaide).

Location –

Immediately south of West Lakes Shopping Centre.  The apartment is part of a group of units known as Regatta Court. The apartment is accessed via the entrance to Regatta Court, 100 metres west of the roundabout at the intersection of Brebner Drive, Sportsmans Drive and the southern entrance to the shops.  On the entrance gate there is a map of unit locations – see photo below.

Facilities –

Traditional furnished home unit with 3 bedrooms upstairs.
Bedroom configuration – 1 room with king size double bed, and 2 other bedrooms each with 2 single beds (Max capacity 6).

Apartment serviced on departure or weekly (if service is requested during your stay – a $150 charge applies).  [Most guests staying longer than a week choose to do the cleaning and change the linen themselves.   Spare linen is provided]
A small breakfast starter pack is provided on arrival.
We are close to the Westfield West Lakes Shopping Centre – 200 metres, (supermarkets open until 9.00 pm weekdays) / Cinemas (Reading Cinemas) / Dry Cleaners / Coffee lounges / Hotel (Lakes) – 200 metres and waterfront restaurants.  Also McDonalds,  Subway, Dominos and Hungry Jacks nearby. For meals there are many choices available – go out 3 times per day, or stay in and prepare your own.  We have a cot (all linen included), hi chair and safety gate all available on request.
Well equipped reverse cycle air conditioning (upstairs and downstairs).  Unit has lockup garage, also FREE Wi-Fi.

Relax enjoy and extend your stay.  Unit has all facilities such as pillows and quilts, linen, towels, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery, dishwasher, washing machine.

Whatever the season, if you have a car, you can relax without having to go far, or use the apartment as a base for tourist attractions anywhere in Adelaide eg historic Port Adelaide.  If you don’t have a car, public transport (bus) is across the road, and many facilities are within walking distance.  The last time we took a cab from the airport, it cost us only $26.  Tell your cab driver you want 73 Brebner Drive.  For those who don’t wish to take a cab, public transport to and from the airport is also available from West Lakes.  Buses (route J7) travel approximately hourly on weekdays,  the journey takes about 50 minutes.

NB Our normal minimum booking period is for 3 nights minimum stay.
We charge $150 per night.   For longer stays over 14 days, a 10% discount applies for additional nights – ask for a quote.

The above rates are for up to 4 guests.  Where 5 or 6 guests stay, higher rates apply – add $25 per person per night.
Instructions for accessing keys are given by (letter or) email  before arrival.  We use a locked safe on the back wall of the apartment and advise you of a 4 digit combination to open and access keys to the apartment.

Most guests who stay more than a week opt to arrange their own service tasks.
For bookings direct to us, deposit 10% on booking. (We also advertise on HomeAway and AirBnb, but if you prefer personal contact with the owners, please book with us direct – westlakesholidayapartment@msn.com  or 0407796016).  With direct bookings, the balance is payable 14 days prior to arrival.   The above booking agencies have a system known as instant booking, so if you book many weeks in advance you will need to pay them up front.  Our own bookings made up to 21 days before arrival require full payment on booking as it is too late for deposits by then and just additional admin for both parties.
Otherwise, 10% deposit and balance 14 days before arrival applies.
Full refunds are given promptly for all cancellations of bookings made direct through us, even if made at short notice.  We understand that life can sometimes interfere with plans.
Accommodation is input taxed ie GST does not apply.  If available, early access can be provided.
The apartment is not available to hold functions where excess alcohol or drugs are likely to be consumed. We are in close proximity to other residents and noisy behaviour will not be tolerated, particularly from 10pm until 8am.

I (and my parents) have recently returned to Perth from our Adelaide holiday and I would just like to say how much we enjoyed staying at your Brebner Drive apartment. It was so clean and spacious and very quiet. I have stayed in hotels before and you can hear noise from the street below or live music etc. We were all very impressed with it. It is very well located, being close to the mall, the beach, the lake and the restaurants and cafes around Brebner Dr.  I would definitely consider staying there again in the future and I would be happy to recommend the apartment to my friends and work colleagues if they are travelling to Adelaide…….October 2017

What a brilliant location this apartment offers. With lake views from the back door, friendly ducks in the communal yard, Westfield Shopping Centre and Reading Cinemas over the road and multiple take away options within walking distance, this was the perfect spot for our holiday.
